Star Sightings!

We've spotted our No Slippy Hair Clippys again atop the pretty heads of Hollywood's little darlings! We are so grateful that celebrity moms and dads keep trusting our clippys to be part of their daughters' lives!

Honor Marie, the charming daughter of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren was seen wearing our Zoey Baby Bow in Pink! Here she is with her daddy on their way to dance practice.

And here is delightful Sunday Rose, daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, wearing our Audrey White Baby Bow!

One more photo to share: this is me with Angela Bassett when we attended the Boom Boom Room!

Who's the Girliest of Them All?

Celebrity babies are only human too. They just happen to have famous parents, almost-instant-access to their dreams, plus a hoard of paparazzi clicking away at every yawn, giggle, tantrum, and budding fashion sense.

We will never know what the fascination is all about, but there sure are some celebrity kids who stand out among the rest. Who make even ordinary folks like us to take a second look and gush: "My girl MUST have that dress!"

Celebrity Baby Scoop gives us a roundup of Hollywood's favorite little girls and why we can't stop watching them:

Suri Cruise
Suri is the queen of all the celebrity princesses. With her reported multi-million dollar wardrobe, her pension for wearing lipstick and her high heels, she is so three going on thirty. She hates jeans and just loves a flirty dress. Plus she's already keenly interested in fashion even going so far as dressing mom Katie Holmes. It does not get much girlier than Suri.

Zahara Jolie-Pitt
Now at first glance, you would not immediately think girly-girl when looking at Zahara. She tends to wear earthtone hues and simple European designs. But in contrast to little sister Shiloh, her look is totally all girl. She also tends to accessorize very stylishly with a nice scarf or eye catching hat. One of my personal favorites is her Alice + Olivia black dress coat. Pricey but totally worth it.

Princess Tiaamii Andre
You have no choice but to be a girly-girl if your mother names you Princess. Your fashion fate is pretty much sealed. Katie Price aka Jordan dresses her daughter in oodles of pink, very feminine and pricey clothes. She even totes around a mini Louis Vuitton bag on occasion. Will she inherit her mom’s outrageous fashion sense? Time will only tell!

For the rest of the list, head on over to Celebrity Baby Blog here!

Speaking of Zahara, if your little girl is also into wildlife like her, then you would love our Zahara Wildlife Collection clippys!

This darling baby is wearing Pink Cow. You should also see six more styles to suit your girl's personality: Light Brown Sheep, Yellow Chick, Horizon Blue Penguin, Lime Turtle, Dark Brown Monkey and Reseda Green Frog. All with our signature non-slip grip, of course!

PONDER, PONDER, PONDER...
What do you think of these young girls? How do you think all that attention would affect them as they grow? This has been a topic of much debate: do you think Suri Cruise should be wearing those heels?

Boom Boom Room 2010 Roundown!

As you may know by now, No Slippy Hair Clippy was invited yet again to Boom Boom Room's Pre-Golden Globe Awards Baby & Big Kid Wonderland Villa. This is actually our third year in a row doing this event. I know several of the celebrities on a first name basis now, which is really cool! (Samantha Harris, Joely Fisher, Jodie Sweetin, Larry Birkhead and his little Dannielynn)

(1) Joely Fisher, daughter Skyler Grace and Skyler's cousin Mikaela
(2) Kim Porter and P Diddy's twins D'lila Star and Jessie James

(1) Lou Diamond Philips, wife Yvonne Boismier and daughter Indigo Sanara
(2) Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn

(1) Ali Landry, (2) Michelle Stafford

(1) Jodie Sweetin, (2) Busy Philipps and daughter

The event this year was in a big room at the Hyatt Century City Plaza, in Century City, CA. This is where the event has taken place in the last five years. It was set up as a big oval inside with two rows of tables and an aisle in the middle where people could walk. We had VIP placement, which was really nice.

In the middle, when you walk in, Baby Couture Magazine set up a play area for the kids and refreshments for the celebrities, and a place to sit down and relax. There was a long table where celebrities gift-wrapped books which were given to charity. The books were donated by the participating brands.

Celebrities walked around table to table, receiving information about products and some samples to take with them.

After doing this event now for two years, I figured out that getting email addresses was important for other promotions, plus this year, I wanted to tie in with the Haiti relief team, and I asked each celebrity that came to our table to sign my guest book with their name and address, so I could send them an email for charity, where we will send proceeds to UNICEF and Save the Children. I received a wonderful response, and everyone was pleased to see we are doing our part. In fact, most of the celebs have already donated and are working actively with charities to help out, so that was really encouraging, very positive.

The thrill for me on Saturday (January 16th) was when Larry Birkhead came in with his daughter Dannielynn. Danielynn was wearing our lavender-grape Queen Whitney bow! When I spoke with Larry, he said, “Oh, that’s a No Slippy Hair Clippy she’s wearing, I knew you were going to be here.” That totally made my day and show!

Samantha Harris came on Sunday and gave me a big hug. She said, “I swear Josselyn wears one of your clips everyday!” She asked me about pairs (left and right-sided clips) which I told her we could make easily, and would send her some of my favorites. She gave me her mailing address.

For me, this event is give us tons of feedback, because so many of the celebrities have been gifted already by BopStar Baby baskets, so they knew our product. It’s always nice to say hello and introduce new parents to our product as well. I didn’t get a photo of Chad Lowe (Rob Lowe’s brother) but was able to hand him and his wife a clip sample. They are new parents to a baby girl, so I wanted to make sure they could see our hair clip and how special it is with the velvet lining.

The event was a lot of fun and fast-paced. I’m happy we participated. I know our fundraiser, “Hair Clips for Haiti” will be a success. I will post results once we email everyone with our promotion.

But as early as now, we are grateful for some positive response about this. I’ve noticed several blogs mentioning our participation to help Haiti, so that is really cool! There were several comments in our Facebook and Twitter accounts, too! Add us up or join our fan page to see more celebrity sightings at the Boom Boom Room :)

Special thaks go out to our dearest Amanda Elkins for taking those fantastic photos! Go check out her website, amandaelkins.com.

Jessica and Honor Do Breakfast

One of our favorite babies, Honor Marie Warren, was recently spotted looking lovely once again with her equally lovely mom, Jessica Alba. The two grabbed breakfast at Nate 'n Al's in Beverly Hills. See that adorable headband Honor's wearing? Doesn't that remind you of a No Slippy Hair Clippy headband? :)

We are so in love with you, Honor! You're growing up to be one fine little lady.

Celebs gush about No Slippy!

If you are anyone in Hollywood and you are expecting a little bundle of joy, than you should also be expecting to receive something called a BopStarBaby gift basket. Each basket is personalized for the celebrity couple, (girl or boy) and they even send something special for any brothers or sisters already in the family! (how sweet is that?!) What does all this have to do with No Slippy you ask?

No Slippy Hair Clippy is the exclusive Hair Clip participant in the BopStarBaby, BabyMakes3 Gift Baskets for New Celebrity Parents. No Slippy’s Baby’s First Hair Clippy gift sets are included in all baby girl baskets.

Super celebs such as, Angela Basset, Kevin James, The Priestleys and Brooke Burke have alleged their adoration of the basket and of NSHC products. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to post a few!

“We love our No Slippy Hair Clippies! Josselyn wears them every day … What fun! Thank you so much”

Samantha Harris, BopStarBaby, BabyMakes3 Baskets 2007

“Don’t get me started on the No Slippy Hair Clippy, we have always been faithful customers of theirs – no other clip will do the job.”

Kevin James & Family, BopStarBaby, Holiday Baskets 2007

“When you have a baby girl, you go gaw gaw over barrettes and bows. Talking about making the outfit as well as helping the sweet passerby note instantly boy or girl. Although they may continue to think my son’s a she. Sometimes these unisex outfits can confuse… smile. I love the barrettes + bows for my living doll”

Angela Bassett, BopStarBaby Holiday Baskets 2006

“Ava & I love these clips… for the moment it is the only way people can tell Ava is a girl….”

The Priestleys, BopStarBaby, Holiday Baskets 2007

“(BopStarBaby) .. thank you so much for the creative basket of baby stuff. Loved.. and the hair clips. Baby Rain will enjoy everything”

Brooke Burke, BopStarBaby, BabyMakes3 Baskets, 2007

“… I met the fabulous ladies of No Slippy Hair Clippy at one of the Golden Globe suites here in L.A. They were so sweet and wonderful and it was such a pleasure to meet them in person to personally thank them for creating an amazing hair product…… The best thing about those clips for a baby like Olivia is that with them, there is no question that she is a girl!

All babies all kind of look the same and people don't always know if it's a boy or a girl, so I try to make her look feminine with hair clips. But babies at that age have very little hair, or it's super- fine like in Livvy's case, so no hair clips stay on. With the magnet in the No Slippy Hair Clippy, the hair clip actually STAYS in her hair. It's such a wonderful product and they are such wonderful ladies. Please send them my best!”

Chris Cornell's daughter rocks No Slippy!

The front man of popular rock bands Soundgarden and Audioslave, Chris Cornell, is one of the biggest stars that rock and roll has ever seen. He boasts an impressive four octave vocal range, (which is pretty cool in case you didn't know) and a charisma and presence that can not easily be duplicated.

These days he is doing solo projects, his most recent album is Scream, and working on his most important venture of all, his family. Chris is married to a beautiful publicist, Vicky Karayiannis, with whom he has 2 children, Toni and Christopher Nicholas.

The popular children's fashion magazine, Baby Couture, published some rockin' photos of the whole Cornell clan (minus Chris' first daughter with ex Susan Silver, Lillian Jean) in their March-May 2009 issue. In these adorable photos, Toni is shown wearing a No Slippy Spider Daisy Headband in Shocking Pink and jamming on a matching pink guitar! :) Like father like daughter...

In this same issue, No Slippy accessories are found again, this time our Organic Large Silk Flower Headband in Pink, is gracing the head of a pretty little girl making some cookies!

Celebrity Sightings!

Who doesn't love Jessica Alba? She is beautiful, sweet, funny, obviously talented and now... she is a new Mommy! So we are thrilled that CelebrityBabyScoop.com has posted pictures of her 3, count 'em 3, different times with her daughter Honor Marie Warren wearing No Slippy accessories.

Also courtesy of CelebrityBabyScoop.com, we have an adorable shot of Danneilynn Birkhead celebrating birthday #2 at Disneyland! Look how enamored she is of Snow White. *awww* Personally, I like Danneilynn's bow better... sorry Snow White, but don't worry, you are still the second fairest of them all. :)

Honor is wearing our Paige hair clip in Black.

Honor is wearing our Parker hair clip in Light Blue.

Honor is wearing our Audrey baby bow in White.

Dannielynn is wearing our Whitney Queen Bow in Shocking Pink

Trip down celebrity baby lane...

Our hair clips, headbands and bows are no strangers to the hair of the some of the world's most notable celebrity babies. I want to take this opportunity to take a stroll through cutie-ville, as we pause a few moments to "oooooo" and "ahhhhh" over some undeniably pinchable cheeks... and clippies! (Well I suppose hair accessories can't really be classified as pinchable, but you know what I mean... adorable!!)

The beautiful and talented Samantha Harris, from Dancing with the Stars, just loves NSHC products. Her daughter Josselyn has been seen wearing our clips on at least three separate occasions.

Here she is wearing our Olivia French Blue Bow. Look at those cheeks... I mean honestly *chomp*

And here little Josselyn is again, this time in our Charlotte Brown Clip. Look at that "Don't mind me, just a little milk drunk" expression... classic.

In my humble opinion, Valentina Paloma, Salma Hayek's little angel, is unequivocally one of the most beautiful babies around. But I mean of course! With a mother like Salma, how could she not be easy on the eyes??

Supermodel stunner Christy Turlington's daughter, Grace is seen here on her 3rd birthday wearing a No Slippy Birthday Fuzzy Cake Clip. I can't really decide which is cuter, Grace or the B-Day clip... oh who am I kidding, of course Grace "takes the cake" (sorry couldn't help myself) Look at that pout... she's really gonna knock all the preschool boys dead, eh?

OK that's enough precious-ness for now. Don't want to over load you all at once!

Until next time...
